This deep red garnet has lots of facets to catch the light. The stone has been set in a simple yet feminine quatrefoil or (four leaves) shape. This shape has been used through out history from adornment of gothic cathedrals to pretty stationary. The top layer of silver has been roller printed with a pretty vine motif. The bottom layer has been given a dark patina to add drama and contrast. The back of the pendant is stamped with my maker's mark.
☞ Pendant measures a little under 1"
Modeled on an 18" chain.
Secure lobster clasp
Gem lore ~ As a root chakra stone, garnet said to be excellent for manifestation. It is used to ground one's dreams in reality, bringing abundance, prosperity, and realization of those dreams. It is also believed to regulate the heart and blood flow, also an aid in curing depression. Historically garnet was a gift given between friends to demonstrate their affection for each other and to insure that they meet again.
